Good food and service in reasonable price. Atmosphere is also good. It is quite difficult to find a restaurant of quality food with reasonable price in Islamabad, but Darbar restaurant made it possible. Recommended
"Darbar Restaurant is a top-rated gem in Islamabad! Excellent food, stunning ambiance, and a fully air-conditioned space make it an ideal dining spot. Highly recommended!"
Good taste of mostly all items. Service is too bad for family but good for single person or group of boys. Sitting area is airy. Rates are just ok. This place has taste only if you are with family i suggest you to not dine in and if you want to taste and have time to wait then upstairs you would enjoy.
From chicken karahi to shahi daal, shahi chanay, daal chana, chai, anda paratha they provide huge variety of desi items in their orignal taste. I have been their several times they never disappoint me. Most important they are pocket friendly plus their is place to family as well, and they open for 24/7
Darbar" is a common name for restaurants, often associated with Indian or Pakistani cuisine. The term "Darbar" historically refers to a royal court or a grand meeting place, which ties into the restaurant's theme of serving regal and traditional dishes.Typically, a Darbar restaurant would offer a menu rich in flavorful curries, biryanis, kebabs, and tandoori dishes, along with a variety of breads like naan and roti. The ambiance in such restaurants often tries to reflect the cultural heritage of India or Pakistan, with décor and music that add to the dining experience. If you are referring to a specific "Darbar" restaurant, providing its location or more details would help give more tailored information.
Superb, simple food, along with crispy paratha, good halwa, and Pakistani tea to die for. The fancy photos on this Google map entry are NOT of the restaurant, by the way — it's a very humble, busy place. I'm a Westerner and I came here 4 times in just a few days in the city, because I liked it so much. Staff is nice and accommodating, too.
I visited this restaurant with 5 friends at 12 AM for dinner. The highlight was their delicious 'Shahi Daal'. The biryani was okay, not spicy at all. The qeema was average. The staff was friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was just fine, nothing special but not bad either. Overall, it's a decent place to grab a meal.
